Isaac Haxton Folds Top Pair to Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo raised from the hijack to 11,000 holding [ah][ad] before Isaac Haxton three-bet to 38,000 next to speak in the cutoff with [js][ts].
Petrangelo called, and the flop landed [3s][5h][jh]. Petrangelo checked and Haxton continued for 25,000. Petrangelo called as the turn landed the [4h] and both players checked.
The river is the [9s] and Petrangelo bet 120,000. Haxton used a time bank and then eventually folded.
Brian Rast Eliminated by Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,000 from middle position and Dan Cates called from the hijack. Ali Imsirovic called from the cutoff before Brian Rast moved all in for 145,000 out of the big blind. Negreanu moved all in as well for well over 1,000,000 and everybody else got out of the way.
Negreanu showed [qh][qd] and was in the lead against Rast’s [as][td].
The board came [9h][7s][5s][7d][8s] and Rast couldn’t hit an ace. Negreanu won the pot with a pair of queens and Rast hit the rail.
Phil Hellmuth Rivers a Pair
Talal Shakerchi raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Stephen Chidwick called from the cutoff. Phil Hellmuth three-bet to 44,000 out of the small blind, Shakerchi folded and Chidwick called.
The flop was [kd][9h][2c] and Hellmuth checked. Chidwick bet 30,000 and Hellmuth called. The turn was the [8h] and both players checked to the [7d] river. Both players checked again.
“Pair of sevens,” announced Hellmuth, showing [as][7s].
Chidwick mucked his hand and Hellmuth took the pot.

Soverel was at-risk and trailing heavily, and when the dealer ran out the [9h][7d][7s][2s][qh] board, he was eliminated on the first hand of the new level.
A Look Into the Mind of Ali Imsirovic
Reigning Poker Masters champion Ali Imsirovic is continuing his ascend towards poker stardom during Super High Roller Bowl V. During play on Day 1, Imsirovic didn’t back down from making some fancy moves and the following hand caught our eye in particular. Time to Cash In Those Add Ons
