Picking up the action on the [2h9s9d6d] turn, Tim Adams checked from the hijack and Chris Brewer fired 37,000 into about 65,000. Adams called.

Adams checked the [6s] river and Brewer tanked for a while, burning a timebank. Then he tapped the felt and showed the [8c8d], which was enough to claim the pot.
