Jake Daniels Doubles Through Michael Wang

On the button, Michael Wang, winner of 2022 Stairway To Millions Event #5, raised to 4,000. Jake Daniels, winner of 2022 PokerGO Cup Event #3, reraised to 12,500 out of the small blind. Adam Hendrix folded from the big blind and then Wang got a look at Daniels’ stack. Wang then moved all in and Daniels called it off for 46,500 total.

Wang tabled the [AsKh] for two overs to Daniels’ [QcQs].

The flop, turn, and river ran out [6c5d3c7cAc] and Daniels doubled up with a club flush.

Joe McKeehen Makes a Flush

On the [Kh3c2c] flop, Jake Daniels was first to act out of the big blind seat and checked. Joe McKeehen was next, acting out of middle position, and he bet 4,000. Tamon Nakamura was next out of the hijack seat and raised to 12,000. After Daniels folded, McKeehen came along with a call.

The turn was the [Qc] and McKeehen checked. Nakamura fired 30,000 and McKeehen made the call. The river completed the board with the [8h] and both players checked. McKeehen showed the nut flush with the [Ac9c]. Nakamura flashed what appeared to be king-queen and then mucked his hand.

Tamon Nakamura was acting out of the cutoff seat, Kitty Kuo was on the button, and we picked up the action on the turn of a board reading [8h6c2h8c]. Nakamura bet 15,000 and Kuo made the call to see the [9s] complete the board on the river. After Nakamura checked, Kuo checked behind. Nakamura tabled the [QdQs] and Kuo mucked her hand.
