U.S. Poker Open Event #4: $10,000 Big Bet Mix Starts Saturday, March 19, at 12 p.m. PT
Welcome to the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, for Event #4: $10,000 Big Bet Mix of the 2022 U.S. Poker Open.
The inaugural U.S. Poker Open kicked off in 2018 with Stephen Chidwick being crowned the U.S. Poker Open champion on the back of his two wins and five final tables. The 2019 and 2021 U.S. Poker Open would be dominated by David Peters who was crowned champion in both years picking up a combined four wins and six final tables. For the 2022 U.S. Poker Open, both the Golden Eagle Trophy and $50,000 championship bonus are up for grabs for the player that earns the most PGT points throughout the 12-event series.
This tournament is part of the PokerGO Tour with players earning points based on the amount they cash for. The full PokerGO Tour schedule can be found here, and the current PokerGO Tour leaderboard is available here.
Event #4 will be a rotation of three games – No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw – with players beginning with 125,000 in starting chips, and levels will be 40-minutes in duration with a 10-minute break every two levels. Players that register before the start time of 12 p.m. PT will not have to pay rake on their tournament entry, but this will not apply for late entries and re-entries. Registration closes at the start of Level 7, and players are allowed two reentries during the event. The 30-second shot clock will be in-play with each player receiving six 30-second time extensions per entry. The final six players will receive an additional six 30-second time extensions. The final table for this event will stream the following day on PokerGO.com at 1 p.m. PT.
