On the final hand before late registration closed, Jake Daniels raised to 11,000 under the gun and Ali Imsirovic called from the cutoff. Tamon Nakamura called from the big blind and the flop fanned out [Js6d9s] and Daniels continued for 13,500.
Imsirovic tossed in the call and after a slight pause, Nakamura moved all-in for 55,000. Daniels put in a raise to 93,000 and Imsirovic moved all-in almost instantly for 318,000.
Daniels sat back in this chair, visibly not happy with the situation at hand, and said, “I have a hand that I should not fold.”
After using one of his time extensions, Daniels did fold and Nakamura revealed [Ts5s]. Imsirovic turned over [As3s] and the turn gave the all-in player a pair when the [Td] popped up. The river completed the board with the [4d] and Nakamura tripled up.
Daniels told Steve Zolotow, who was observing the action at the table, that he folded ace-jack.
