Button Raise, River Bet Gives David Peters Early 33,000 Pot
David Peters won his first big pot of the tournament in a hand with North Dakota native Rodger Johnson and the man atop the United States’ all-time money list, Justin Bonomo.

When both blinds passed on betting the turn, Peters fired 12,000 into the pot, Johnson check-called and Bonomo threw his hand away.
The river brought the [5c] and Rodgers checked for a third time. Peters followed his 12,000 turn bet with two-thirds of the pot on the river, sizable enough for Johnson to throw his hand into the muck.
