Welcome to Event #10 – $100,000 Main Event
Welcome to the ARIA Resort & Casino and the PokerGO Studio for the 2019 U.S. Poker Open and the final event of the series with Event #10 – $100,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event.
In 2018, the U.S. Poker Open was a new event added to the string of Poker Central high roller tournaments and the eight events on the schedule saw the likes of Justin Bonomo, Mike Gorodinsky, Stephen Chidwick, Ben Tollerene, Benjamin Pollak, David Peters, and Keith Tilston capture victories over the course of 11 days. Jordan Cristos, Lauren Roberts, Sean Winter, Ali Imsirovic, Bryn Kenney, and Nick Schulman have all been crowned U.S. Poker Open Champions during this series, however it is a familiar name making all the headlines.
In an attempt to defend his U.S. Poker Open Champion crown, Chidwick has won two events this series and currently sits atop the U.S. Poker Open Championship Standings with 540 points from his four cashes and $705,950 in tournament winnings. Unfortunately for Chidwick, his nearest rival Winter sits with 440 points and is the current chip leader heading into the Event #9 final table that plays out later today. Standing in Winter’s way is Koray Aldemir, Ryan Riess, Alex Foxen, David Peters, and Seth Davies as each player is guaranteed $123,000 while a first-place prize of $738,000 awaits the eventual winner.
If Winter finishes in third-place he will be tied with Chidwick on points but have the tiebreaker with most money won. A second-place or better finish will thrust Winter into the outright lead heading into the final event of the U.S. Poker Open.

Today will see the final event of the U.S. Poker Open with Event #10 – $100,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event. Players will begin with 200,000 in starting chips and be playing 40-minute levels with play ending after 14 levels of play (approximately 12:10 a.m. local time). There are no tournament fees for players who register by 2 p.m. and each player is allowed one re-entry through the first ten levels (ending approximately 9:10 p.m. local time). There is also a 30-second shot clock in play for the duration of the tournament and each player will receive three 60-second time banks each day.
The U.S. Poker Open Championship points that are available in the U.S. Poker Open Main Event are 350 (1st), 245 (2nd), 175 (3rd), 140 (4th), 105 (5th), and 70 (6th+).
