With a victory in Event #4, Sean Winter has taken the U.S. Poker Open Championship lead from reigning champion Stephen Chidwick. Winter has made the final table in all four events so far, resulting in a total of $419,900 in earnings.
Chidwick, who has now made three final tables so far, sits in second place with a sizeable gap ahead of him. To tie Winter, Chidwick needs at least another third place in one of the upcoming events. With the exception of Joseph Cheong and Lauren Roberts, the entire Top 10 is currently active in Event #5.
