Sean Winter is the chip leader with 2,080,000 in chips ahead of Bill Klein, Jason Koon, Jonathan Little, Stephen Chidwick, and Sam Soverel. The final six players are all guaranteed $105,000 in prize money, but all eyes are on the $756,000 first-place prize and title of Event #12 champion. For Soverel, if he can emerge victorious, he will dethrone David Peters as the 2021 U.S. Poker Open champion.
