Germany Down and Back
After Manig Loeser doubled through Koray Aldemir, Germany found themselves on opposite ends of the leaderboard heading into Level 3. Midway through that 30-minute period, a short stacked Aldemir became the second elimination of the day.
Giuseppi Iadisernia busted shortly after his confrontation with Mike Watson and Aldemir took Iadisernia’s empty seat after using his first Event #1 re-entry. Iadisernia has yet to rejoin the field, as 12 players head towards the first break of the day.

Chidwick Gets Some From Watson
Robert Flink raised to 3,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet by Mike Watson from the button to 10,000. Stephen Chidwick was next to act in the small blind and he made it 22,000 prompting a quick fold from Flink. Watson gave it some thought before making the call.
The flop brought out [2cQh7c] and Chidwick bet 8,000 leading to a quick fold by Watson.

Mike Watson Doubles With Aces
While Manig Loeser sits atop the Table 1 counts, Mike Watson is the early Event #1 leader after doubling through Giuseppe Iadisernia.
After Stephen Chidwick opened from under the gun, Iadisernia called in middle position before Watson three-bet from the big blind. Chidwick did not continue, but Iadisernia stuck around to see the [Ts6c2c] flop.
Watson led for 12,000 and Iadisernia almost immediately clicked it back to 24,000. The min-raise sent Watson into the tank and a minute later, after forfeiting his first time extension, he replied with another raise to 42,000.
Iadisernia called and there was just over a starting stack in the pot as the [5s] fell on the turn. Watson took his time again and just before using another extension moved all-in. The 63,000 shove accounted for a majority of Iadisernia’s stack and the Venezuelan used a time extension of his own before he eventually called.
Watson tabled [AdAs] and Iadisernia turned over [KdTd]. His top pair needed help, but the [Jh] completed the board to secure Watson’s double.

Loeser Doubles Through Aldemir

Manig Loeser was just spotted sitting on a big stack and he informed of us a double up he managed to secure through Koray Aldemir.
Loeser relayed to us that was it was Cary Katz who raised to 2,000 before Aldemir three-bet to 7,000 from the cutoff before the action got to Loeser in the big blind. Loeser four-bet to 20,000 and Katz folded before Aldemir made the call.
The flop brought out nine-seven-deuce with two spades and Loeser bet 18,000. Aldemir shoved for 81,000 effectively and Loeser called showing two kings. Aldemir tables queens and neither the turn nor river changed the outcome resulting in an early double up for Loeser.

Seated Shortly After the Start
After a dozen players were seated from the start, two more have joined Event #1 before the end of the first level.
China’s Gang Wang is seated between Manig Loeser and Joao Vieira, while Venezuelan Giuseppe Iadisernia is seated between Sam Soverel and Barry Shulman. Those additions have filled out both seven-handed tables, so the next entry will force the first redraw of the day.
