Sam Greenwood played two hands from the blind near the end of Level 12 to bust in 8th place.
In the first, Sam Soverel opened to 17,000 from under the gun. The table folded to Greenwood in the big blind, who three-bet to 70,000. After a few seconds, Soverel moved all-in and Greenwood quickly folded.
In the very next hand, Vincent Bosca opened to 16,000 from under the gun and after the table folded to the blinds, Greenwood shoved from the small.
Bosca called his opponent’s 225,000~ and Greenwood needed to hit to stay alive. The shorter stack held [TcTh] to Bosca’s [QcQs] and the Spaniard’s bigger pocket pair held through the [Kd5s3d4hJh] runout.

Ali Imsirovic opened to 18,000 from the hijack and Sam Soverel called on the button. Both blinds passed and Imsirovic checked the [Td8d6s] flop to the big stack.
Soverel bet 16,000 and Imsirovic replied with a raise to 50,000. Soverel quickly folded to conceded the pot to his High Roller of the Year competitor.
On the very next hand, Vincent Bosca (pictured) opened to 18,000 from the button and Rainer Kempe defended his big blind.
The [Ts4d3s] flop brought a check from the German and Bosca continued for 12,000. After some thought, Kempe check-shoved for just over 110,000 and Bosca quickly released his hand.

The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl champion did not call and while he’s near the bottom of the counts, Chidwick is close to the lead.
