The late registration and re-entry period have now ended here in Event #2: $25,000 NLH with a total of 58 entries which accumulated a total prize pool of $1,450,000. The top nine will be finding at least a min-cash of $43,500 with the eventual champion pulling in $435,000.

Artur Martirosyan Takes the Lead, Koon Heads Out the Door
Artur Martirosyan opened to 13,000 from under the gun and Jason Koon called in the cutoff. The flop came down [jh5s4c], Martirosyan bet 20,000 and Koon raised to 45,000.
Martirosyan called to see the [3s] turn card and checked once more to Koon who bet 40,000. Martirosyan called and an [8c] completed the board.
The action checked to Koon who bet 91,000, leaving just 6,000 behind and Martirosyan called. Koon tabled [asjd] for top-top but it was not strong enough after Martirosyan showed his [js8s], giving the Russian two pair and the pot.
Koon dropped from the tournament just hands afterward.
