Simao Busts
Minutes after the hand we just reported, Brazilian partypoker team member Joao Simao was nowhere to be seen anymore. Former table mate Mike Dentale told us what had happened.
A player opened, Simao three-bet, the initial-raiser four-bet, and Simao called in position. Simao’s opponent bet on [Jx5x3x] and Simao shoved. The initial-raiser called with pocket queens and Simao showed pocket sevens.
The turn and river didn’t bring a seven or running straight cards and Simao headed to the rail.

Dabini Can’t Eliminate His Neighbor
The board read [qdjc2c] and partypoker PRO Richard Dabini bet 50,000 from the small blind. The player in the cutoff called and the player on the button was already at risk of elimination.
Despite the small side pot both players with chips left checked it down on the [kc] turn and [9c] river. The player in the cutoff won the side pot with [9s9h] but the at-risk player tripled up with [ad8c].

We missed the pre-flop action but Simao told us it had gone raise – call – call (Simao in the small blind) – three-bet (big blind) – fold – fold – call (Simao.)
We got there on the flop as Simao checked on [3c8sKd]. The big blind bet 100,000 and Simao called.
The [Ts] hit the turn and Simao front shoved for effectively 392,000. The big blind snap-called.
Joao Simao: [QcJc]
Big blind: [Ks4s]
The [5d] on the river wasn’t one of the cards Simao was looking for and he parted ways with the majority of his stack.

Dentale Takes From Simao
Mike Dentale raised under the gun to 20,000 and Joao Simao three-bet to 60,000 from middle position. It folded around back to Dentale and he put the extra 40,000 in the middle to see a flop.
The cards were dealt [9s9d3h] and Dentale checked to Simao who continued with a bet of 50,000. Dentale called and the turn was the [tc].
Dentale led out on the turn with a bet of 115,000 and that was too much for Simao who got out of the way.

![Niall Farrell](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/02/9156b711-niall-farrell.jpg)
Niall Farrell opened under the gun for 25,000 and saw the action fold around quickly to the player in the big blind who called.
The big blind checked on [As6cKc] and Farrell bet 45,000. The big blind called and check-called Farrell’s 155,000 bet on the [4h] turn as well.
The [Jh] on the river completed the board and the big blind checked once more. Farrell shoved and the big blind snap-called.
Farrell showed [7s4s] and the big blind rolled over [AdKh]. After some counting was done, Farrell parted ways with 780,000 on the river and was left with 125,000.

Kempe Fighting Back
Rainer Kempe lost some small pots early on, but just now one a small one to get closer back to starting stack.
On a flop of [7d5d7c], he check-called a bet of 25,000 from the big blind. His opponent, a player in middle position, bet 75,000 on the [Kc] turn once Kempe had checked. Kempe called.
Both of them checked the [4h] on the river and Kempe showed a winner with [KdQh].
