Queens No Good for Lijo
Brunno Botteon De Albuquerque opened the button for 20,000 and small blind Lander Lijo three-bet to 75,000. The big blind folded, De Albuquerque called.
Lijo bet 35,000 on [5s5hKd] and De Albuquerque called before the two checked down the [Ad] turn and [8d] river.
Lijo showed pocket queens but saw those ladies hit the muck soon enough as his neighbor tabled king-jack off.

Scholten Doesn’t Spring the Trap
Freek Scholten raised under the gun to 20,000 and he was called by Antonio Martinac from the button and big blind Sergio Ilarasky.
The flop came down [qhqc3h] and Scholten continued with a bet of 25,000 after a check of Ilarasky. Martinac got out of the way but Ilarasky called.
The turn was the [jd] and both players checked to see the [kh] complete the board on the river.
Ilarasky checked again and Scholten checked behind. Ilarasky showed [qsjs] for a full house and Scholten didn’t spring the trap when he checked behind on the river.
Scholten With the Accidental Call
Niall Farrell was first to act but folded, missing out on what would become a family pot. All players were in the hand for the minimum with Sergio Iralasky (hijack), Freek Scholten (cutoff), Jack Sinclair (button), Marty Mathis (small blind), and Antonio Martinac (big bind) all seeing a flop of [2d4c3s] for cheap.
Mathis checked and Martinac bet 30,000. Iralasky folded, Scholten called, Sinclair and Mathis folded.
The [Ad] on the turn was checked by both before the [7s] completed the board. Martinac bet 15,000 and Scholten called having double-checked with the dealer how much it was.
Martinac showed [Qd3h] and Scholten leaned forward making sure it was just a pair of threes, before revealing his [Kd5d]. It turned out that Scholten though he had king-four of diamonds for a pair of fours and the missed flush draw while he in fact had the rivered wheel. Regardless, Scholten won the small pt and started stacking.
