At noon, the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event resumes. The sixty survivors of the first two days merge with the fifteen that had already played their way through to Day 3 online for a combined field of 75 players.
All guaranteed the min-cash of $20,000, and they’re all eyeing the top-prize of $1,000,000. The goal for the day is to get as close to a final table of eight as possible. The finalists are guaranteed to take home $100,000 from the $5,141,000 prize pool.
Irish Open winner Weije “Jervi” Zheng leads the field, looking for another big score. The competition is fierce, though, as some of the top names in poker have played their way through to the money stage of the UK’s most prestigious event. WSOP Main Event winner Hossein Ensan still has a shot at the partypoker trophy, as does WSOPE Main Event winner Jack Sinclair, former partypoker MILLIONS Main Event winner Maria Lampropulos, and a whole platoon of high rollers. Sam Grafton sits in an excellent position to do some damage. Still, high stakes colleagues Ludovic Geilich, Joao Vieira, Sergi Reixach, Niall Farrell, and Patrick Leonard will try to make life hard for their tablemates as well.
Play restarts at noon when the gigantic prize pool will start to be paid with the first elimination. The live stream begins at 1 pm local time (8 am ET), and from that point, live coverage will keep in time with the delayed feed.

Day 2 of the partypoker LIVE $10,300 MILLIONS UK Main Event came to a dramatic conclusion today with the bursting of the bubble, locking up a seat in Day 3 for the sixty players who’d battled successfully through seventeen hour-long levels at Dusk Till Dawn. Together with the sixteen online Day 2 survivors, these players are now guaranteed a share in the $5,141,000 total prize pool.
Three Romanello brothers (Anthony, Nicholas, and Roberto), reigning WSOP Main Event champion (Ensan), a WSOPE Main Event winner (Sinclair), a former champ (Lampropulos), high roller regulars (Grafton, Vieira, Leonard, Reixach, Farrell) and a couple more partypoker pros (Geilich and Gross) make for some amazing storylines going into the penultimate day.
![Joao Simao (photo: Mickey May/partypoker)](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/01/f7b75659-100120_millionsuk_main_day2_231119_mm_138082_49361487363_o.jpg)
With just 76 players remaining, the field is packed with raw poker talent and some of the most entertaining players in the game, promising thrilling PokerGO live stream and Poker Central Live Updates action tomorrow.
Day 2 of the prestigious event started with late registration open for the first two levels. It was soon clear to everyone that the guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000 would easily be met as players (re)entered and the online players were added, making for a total of 530 entries when the registration desk closed.
The day started out with a tough fold for Kristen Bicknell where she bet a large portion of her stack on the river only to see Dara O’Kearney shove. Bicknell tanked for a bit, eventually implying she folded a full house. Bicknell was left short after that, busted, reentered, and busted again before the money. O’Kearney had a sizable stack after that hand, lost a bunch, but made it through to Day 3 with 3.5 million in chips.
Ben Heath won quads over quads but barely blinked an eye. In the end, it didn’t help him as he didn’t make it into the money. Neither did the bad boy of poker, Luke Schwartz, who was already halfway out of the door by the time his cards needed to be shown. Schwartz’s ace-ten high was no good against pocket nines and ace-king.
Another player to bust before the money was partypoker pro Joao Simao. Simao battled it out with Sam Grafton all day with the latter getting the best of it more than once. A couple of spots before the money, Simao and Grafton got it in with ace-king for the former against the aces of the latter. Grafton’s aces held up in a pot worth 18 million making him chip leader. Grafton didn’t hold on to all of those chips – most notably bluffing all three streets against a sticky Fredrik Andersson – but did make it through to Day 3 with a very healthy stack of 13 million.
When the bubble loomed, play tightened up a bit but the final two players to go out before the money weren’t short stacks by any means. Andrew Graham didn’t believe his opponent with top-pair on a four-to-a-straight board. Unfortunately for Graham, his opponent did have Broadway and Graham hit the rail in 62nd place.
![Kuljinder Sidhu (left, seat 2) bubbles the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event in a hand against Peter Chien (right, seat 7) (photo: Mickey May/partypoker)](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/01/d52ccb1c-49364402222_8bbabb4f88_o.jpg)
Down to the actual bubble, numerous short stacks eyed the blinds to see how long they could last. They ended up not having to worry too much as Kuljindur Sidhu got into it with Peter Chien in a 20 million pot. Sidhu three-bet pre-flop and bet all three streets not having connected with the board in any significant way by the time the river was out. On the last card, with four to a straight and a paired board showing, Sidhu pulled the trigger and shoved. Chien didn’t believe his opponent and called with kings.
With the elimination of Sidhu, the sixty players in the Dusk Till Dawn poker room were in the money. They will be joined by the sixteen online players on Day 3 of the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event in Nottingham. Play restarts at noon when the gigantic prize pool will start to be paid with the first elimination. Everyone left, however, will be looking towards making Sunday’s final table with a shot at the life-changing sums of money that await the top Main Event finishers.
The live stream begins at 1 pm local time (8 am ET) and from that point, live coverage will keep in time with the delayed feed.

Kuljindur Sidhu Bubbles the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event
![Kuljinder Sidhu (left, seat 2) bubbles the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event in a hand against Peter Chien (right, seat 7) (photo: Mickey May/partypoker)](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/01/d52ccb1c-49364402222_8bbabb4f88_o.jpg)
Seated under the gun, Peter Chien opened for 400,000. It folded to Kuljindur Sidhu in the hijack who three-bet to 1,075,000. This got rid of the cutoff, button, and both blinds and Chien asked how much Sidhu was playing. After some glaring at the stack, using a time extension card, Chien eventually called.
The flop came [6c3s5d] and Chien checked. Sidhu bet 900,000 and Chien called.
The same was seen on the [7c] turn with Chien checking, Sidhu betting (2.2 million this time) and Chien calling.
The [3d] on the river completed the board making it paired and four to a straight for the heads up duo. Chien checked again and Sidhu wasted little time shoving all in for a little under 6 million in chips.
Chien called showing [KcKh]. Sidhu tabled [Jc8c] and exited in 61st place, the last player to go out before the money.
Also all in on the bubble (and having to sweat through the former hand, cards down) was Michael Allmrodt, who’d moved in on the small blind for under 3,500,000 over a button raise to 425,000 from Ondrej Goetz. Goetz called with [qcqh] and found Allmrodt with [asac]. The board brought [kskh3skd7d] and that meant a double for Allmrodt on the very last hand of Day 2.
The remaining sixty players return to the felt tomorrow for Day 3 of the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event in the Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham. They’ll be joined by the sixteen players that made their way through to Day 3 online at partypoker.
An extensive recap of today’s action, the official chip counts, and seat draw will posted shortly.

Andrew Graham Soft Bubbles the partypoker MILLIONS UK

Seated under the gun, Andrew Graham limped in. That invited Georgy Philippovich on the button to limp as well. Anthony Kennedy in the small blind completed and Joep Raemaekers checked his big blind.
The blinds and Graham checked a flop of [As6sJh] and Philippovich bet 400,000. Kennedy and Raemaekers folded, Graham called.
Graham check-called another 600,000 on the [Th] turn before checking for the last time on the [Kd] river. Philippovich shoved all in and after using a time extension card, Graham called for his last 2.3 million chips.
Philippovich showed [QhJd] for the rivered straight while Graham open mucked his [Ac5c], exiting in 62nd place.
Down to 61 players now, one off the money.

Hand for Hand
With 62 players remaining, the tournament is now hand for hand. Two more players will go empty-handed, the other 60 will start bagging and return tomorrow for Day 3 joined by 16 players that “qualified” for Day 3 online on partypoker.
Shafikov Busts in 63rd
It looked for a brief moment that Denis Shafikov was going to double (all in preflop with [7h7s] vs the [9h9d] of Arsenii Karmatckii. That moment was when he binked a seven on the turn: [6cad2c7d9c], but the river was the [9c].
