Chino Rheem Takes His Seat
Chino Rheem just sat down, taking his seat at the same table as Simon Higgins and WSOP Main Event winner Ryan Riess.
Rheem cashed nine times in 2019, but one of them was a $1.56 million score in the Bahamas at the start of the year. In November of last year, at partypoker’s MILLIONS event at the Caribbean Poker Party, he finished 66th in the Main Event for $35,000. His most recent cash is a 22nd place in the WPT Five Diamonds for $60,435.
Rheem, with over $10 million in lifetime cashes, is nothing but not controversial in the world of poker. He’s already made his presence known here in Nottingham, bantering at the table and winning pots. He’s up to a little over his 1,000,000 starting stack.

The Table of Death
This $10,300 event is nothing to sneeze at and the caliber of players showing up isn’t either. But there are tough tables and then there are really tough tables. We don’t throw around this term lightly – ok, maybe we do however this time we’re for real – but Table 45 is definitely one we’ll keep an eye on as we’ve labeled it the table of death.
Two-time GPI player of the year Alex Foxen, one of the biggest online all-time money earners Chris Moorman, bracelet winners, and regular grinders of the high stakes all sit together. Here’s the line-up:

“Crazy, crazy crazy,” Says Duarte, Pre Busting
Nuno Duarte’s last hand started off four-way to a [4c6h7h] flop. Blinds Max Silver and Anthony Nicholls checked, and preflop raiser Nuno Duarte bet 25,000, called by button Andreas Wiborg and the blinds.
The turn: [7d]. Check to Duarte again, his 36,000 bet this time called solely by Wiborg.
The river: [8d]. Duarte checked to Wiborg, playing with his last two chips (both worth 100,000). Wiborg asked him to show his stack, then set him in.
“Crazy, crazy, crazy,” remarked Duarte, twiddling his final chips and looking for half a minute like he was about to toss them in, before finally doing so, showing down [Ah7c]. His trips weren’t good against Wiborg’s rivered top straight with [9hTh], however, and he hit the rail.

Papazian With the Ace-High Flush
![Alexandru Papazian](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/11/0ed711a8-alexandru-papazian_partypoker-millions_ata_7022.jpg)
When we arrived, a flop of [7cTc3h] was already on the table and big blind Alexandru Papazian bet 90,000. The player under the gun, Leon Louis, folded but Giuseppe Comitini Junior in the hijack called.
The [9c] hit the turn and both players checked. The [6c] completed the board making it four to a (straight-)flush. Papazian tanked for a fair bit, used a time extension card, and eventually decided on a bet of 160,000.
Comitini Junior called but mucked upon being shown [AdAc] by Papazian.

Ruocco Maximises Flush Over Flush
A full double for Daniele Ruocco (whose stack had dropped a little in the first two levels) as the river of a [2hkh3sjhtd] board saw major betting. Ruocco checked to button Nuno Duarte, who bet just shy of 200,000. Ruocco check-raised all in for 520,000 and was quckly called.
Duarte: [Th9h] for a turned flush.
Ruocco: [Ah5h] for the turned nut version.
Duarte drops to 260,000 (still over 30bb) while Ruocco is newly flush with chips.

Ben Cherif’s Small Bluff Fails
After winning a big pre-flop pot, Rachid Ben Cherif was right back at it with a raise to 14,000 from the cutoff. His neighbor Nuno Duarte on the button called, both blinds got out of the way.
Ben Cherif bet 15,000 on [Qh4d3s] and Duarte called right away. They both checked the [6d] on the turn before the [Ad] completed the board. Ben Cherif bet 40,000 and Duarte called instantly.
Ben Cherif showed [10h9s] while Duarte won the pot with [Ah10d].
Still, Ben Cherif is up to 1.8 million while Duarte has around starting stack.
