Van Zadelhoff Raises the Turn
We missed some of the earlier action, but Steven van Zadelhoff was kind enough to fill us in on the details after the hand was over.
Van Zadelhoff opened under the gun and picked up two callers, one of them being the big blind. On [7s5d8s], the big blind checked and so did initial raiser Van Zadelhoff. The third player made a bet and the big blind check-raised. Van Zadelhoff flat called and the flop bettor folded.
On the [2s] turn, the big blind bet out 150,000 into 420,000 with 426,000 behind. Van Zadelhoff raised to 402,000 with what appeared to be 351,000 behind. The big blind used five timebank cards before he eventually folded his hand.
Van Zadelhoff was moved to a different table right after.

Steadily Growing
With 200 big blinds each, the action isn’t as fierce just yet. Small pots are the standard, people aren’t blowing up the pots.
Amongst those to sign up recently is 2017 November Niner Bryan Piccioli, and high rollers Will Molson and Dietrich Fast also just took their seat.

Muehloecker With the Aces
We missed the early action but were keen to write down what was happening when we saw Austrian high roller Thomas Muehloecker in the cutoff check on a board of [6d6cAs] [2s]. His neighbor, Alexandr Merzhvinskiy on the button, bet out 30,000 and Muehloecker called.
The [Kh] completed the board and Muehloecker checked once more. Merzhvinskiy instantly checked behind and Muehloecker showed [AhAd]. Merzhvinskiy quietly slid his cards into the muck with a smile on his face.
