Vieira’s Presence Felt on the Felt
Joao Vieira may have been the most recent entry in the Super High Roller but has been far from unnoticed. He recently won two pots in quick succession (with one pre-flop three-bet-and-take-it from Ben Heath interrupting him) to rise to over 1.6 million. The first was won with a preflop raise to 230,000 from the big blind after Leon Tsoukernik raised blind to 75,000 (it’s been that kind of level, Level 3). The second was a little more involved:
Under the gun, Luke Reeves opened to 16,000, and was raised to 45,000 by button Vieira. Over to big blind Tsoukernik, who made it 225,000 to see a flop. Only Vieira paid his price.
Flop: [TdKd2s]. Tsoukernik led out for 250,000, called by Vieira. This proved his final bet; both players checked through the [3s] turn and [6c] river. Tsoukernik showed down jack-high ([Js8c]) and lost to Vieira’s ace ([asqh]).

Tsoukernik Finds Lucky Double
Leon Tsoukernik, who was leading the tournament not too long ago but lost some pots to drop down a bit, just doubled in a fortunate spot.
With the blind raise/straddle of Alex Foxen under the gun, action folded to Leon Tsoukernik in the small blind, and he shoved for 796,000. Big blind Luke Reeves folded, but Foxen called instantly.
Leon Tsoukernik: [As3d]
Alex Foxen: [KsKc]
The [AdQc4s] flop was good for Tsoukernik. The [8s] on the turn and [Tc] on the river were harmless for the Czech casino owner and he doubled up. Foxen is down to 640,000 in chips.

Badziakouski the First to Go
![Mikita Badziakouski](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2020/01/4e405f25-070120_millionsuk_shr_day1_231119_mm_134994_49345738896_o-1024x683.jpg)
Right after the short break, Mikita Badziakouski lost the last of his chips.
With the straddle on Badziakouski in seat one, he saw his neighbor Leon Tsoukernik open for 75,000 – raising blind Reeves told us after the fact. This raise was enough to get rid of Reeves and Foxen, but Badziakouski shoved. Tsoukernik called with pocket eights and stayed ahead of the [Ax9x] of Badziakouski after a board full of blanks.
Around the same time, Joao Vieira bought in to get the total number of entries up to eleven with ten players remaining. Badziakouski can buy back in until a little before 8.30 p.m.

Filming Has Begun; Please Stand By
In order to keep the secrets of the future (the present for us), there will now be a 35 minute pause in live reporting so as to run in tandem with the livestream which has the usual, eminently sensible, cards-up delay. Action from the secondary table(s) will be posted with the same delay.
When Under the Gun and the Cutoff Are One and the Same…
No, this is not a zen koan, it’s four-handed Super High Roller play. An example from the end of Level 2: Mikita Badziakouski opened preflop to 16,000, called by both blinds (Luke Reeves and Alex Foxen). Reeves led out for 15,000 on the [9s4dah] flop, called by Foxen alone. The turn brought the [6s] and a check from Reeves, who folded when Foxen bet 27,000.

The tournament crew did a full count of the nine registered players. Leon Tsoukernik leads with Igor Kurganov in second.

“Bastard!”

With play four-handed on the outer table, the action is fast-paced. There’s still a lot of banter, even now that Sam Grafton has moved to the feature table.
Luke Reeves opened the action with a raise to 30,000 on the button and Leon Tsoukernik called from his blind raise. “Easy call!” Tsoukernik said as he added the chips needed.
Both checked on [AhAcQd] and the [Js] hit the turn. Tsoukernik bet 85,000 and Reeves raised to 300,000.
“Bastard!” Tsoukernik said with a huge smile as he folded. “Bastard!”
