Despite the innocuous looking [5c] falling on the turn, Vogelsang checked again, then folded when Foxen bet 97,000.
Squeeze Works for Foxen
Preben Stokkan opened the hijack to 37,000 holding [Jc7c] and Christoph Vogelsang called from the button with [Kh8h]. Alex Foxen squeezed from the small blind with [As9c] making it 175,000. The big blind and Stokkan and Vogelsang both gave up.

Kempe Performs Bust-Out/Rebuy Two-Step
Rainer Kempe ran out of chips on the feature table, stacking under 300,000 when he opened his final hand to 24,000 with [ah8s]. Leon Tsoukernik, agent of chaos that he sometimes is, moved all in preflop once more (the previous hand saw him, too, drop to around 300,000 after he made the same move with [3h2d] and ran into the pocket sevens of Mikita Badziakouski). A preflop war was initiated by cutoff Luke Reeves, who made it 35,000 to go, raised to 200,000 by Joao Vieira. Over to big blind Ben Heath, who cold four-bet to 715,000 – his whole stack. Bicknell Out-Kicks Foxen
An ace on the river spelled a big pot for Kristen Bicknell, who had bet from the flop onwards when initial preflop raiser Alex Foxen (cutoff) checked at each opportunity. She bet her [Ax9x] off-suit for 65,000 on the [4d2d6s] flop, called by Foxen with the best diamond draw – [Ad7d] both there and on the [4s] turn (this time 150,000). The river brought the [ac] and a hefty 375,000 bet from Bicknell; Foxen called and saw the nine kicker hand her a juicy pot.

Tsoukernik Busts
Back on the outer table, Leon Tsoukernik was all-in three hands in a row. The first time, he received no callers. The second time he chopped with Rainer Kempe. The third time, he wasn’t as fortunate.
Straddling to 32,000 under the gun, Tsoukernik saw the action fold to Joao Vieira on the button. The Portuguese high roller raised to, what appeared to be, 100,000. The blinds folded and Tsoukernik shoved for a little over 300,000. Vieira called right away.

Two Pair Versus Two Pair
Igor Kurganov opened under the gun for 27,000 and action folded to Kahle Burns on the button. The Australian three-bet to 90,000 and both blinds folded. Kurganov called and checked on [QsJc8d]. Burns checked behind and the [Ac] hit the turn. Kurganov checked and called once Burns bet 156,000. The [Ks] on the river saw Kurganov check for the last time and Burns burned through a time bank card before checking behind.
Kurganov showed [Ah8h] for two-pair but Burns showed the winner with [AdKd] for the superior two-pair.
