Jordan Cristos Doubles Through Michael Wood

Jordan Cristos limped in from middle position for 5,000 and both George Wolff and Michael Wood come along from the blinds.

The flop landed [5sAd9s], and after Wolff checked, Wood bet 20,000. Cristos announced a raise of pot and pushed forward his remaining 69,500. Wolff folded, and Wood called.

The [8s] on the turn furthered Cristos’ lead with his ace-high flush, and when the river landed the [Kd], he secured the double.

Brandon Adams vs. Alex Foxen

Brandon Adams raised to 12,000 from under the gun and Alex Foxen called in the big blind.

The flop landed [Jc3cJd] and Foxen checked. Adams continued for 13,000, and Foxen elected to check-raise to 41,500.

Adams responded with a three-bet to 83,000 total and Foxen mucked.

Jonathan Depa Eliminated by Chance Kornuth

On a flop of [3s4s2h] with roughly 30,000 in the middle, Jonathan Depa committed his last 10,000 with [AdJh6d2d] and Chance Kornuth called holding [AhKhKc2s].

The turn and river landed the [3d] and [6c], and Depa was eliminated by Kornuth’s kings.

Todd Ivens Eliminated by Chance Kornuth

Todd Ivens limped the cutoff and Chance Kornuth raised to 18,000 on the button. Jonathan Depa called in the big blind, as did Ivens.

The flop landed [3s2h9h] and Depa and Ivens checked to Kornuth who bet 20,000. Depa folded, and after using a time extension, Ivens moved all in for roughly 36,000. Kornuth called.

Scott Henry Gets Thai Ha Short, Gordo Gets the Knockout

With the board reading [JsTc2c5c4h], Thai Ha bet 27,000 on the end and Scott Henry answered with a raise to 100,000.

The raise represented a majority of Ha’s stack and after using two time extensions – he called only to be shown [AcJcKd6d].

Henry’s nut flush cut Ha down to his final 15,000 and that got in the middle against Mike Gorodinsky in the very next hand.

Ha held [AdKhQd8s] to Gorodinsky’s [Ah8h8d4d] and the short stack was drawing dead after the [8c6s3c] flop.

While Ha hit the rail, defending Poker Masters $10K PLO champion Jordan Cristos and Jared Bleznick joined the field.
