Sean Winter limped in, as did Dan Shak and Ben Yu, before Todd Ivens raised to 35,000 in the cutoff. Winter, Shak, and Yu all called as the flop landed [Qs8h8c] and action checked through.
The turn fell the [Kh] and Shak bet his remaining 149,000 as Ivens looked him up for his 144,000 total.
Shak: [Th9h]
Ivens: [QhQd]
Shak would need to find a heart on the river, but when it fell the [9s], he was left with just over a single ante.

Weinand Builds with Big Slick
Daniel Weinand opened and Erik Seidel three-bet shoved for his final 50,000~. A few limpers folded and Weinand called to put Seidel at risk with [AhKc].
Seidel held [QdQc] and before the flop he wondered out loud if the odds of this classic race were different in Short Deck.
The flip went Weinand’s way after the [KsJs8h] flop and Seidel couldn’t find any help – as the board ran out with the [9s] and the [Ac] to force Seidel to add-on.
With just a few minutes left in Level 3, Daniel Weinand has the biggest stack in the room with over 400,000.

Catching the action with the flop spread [Kh7h8s], Alex Foxen was all in for the main pot that sat at around 370,000 holding [AcKs] while Daniel Weinand was at-risk for the side pot of 8,000 holding [Th9h].
Cary Katz had both players at risk with his [8d8c].
The turn of the [Td] changed little, but the [6d] on the river improved Weinand to a straight to see him virtually triple up.
Foxen immediately tossed in his add-on chip and was refreshed with 100,000 in chips.

Ben Yu Forces Another Winter Add-On
Sean Winter opened to 16,000 and after Dan Shak folded, Ben Yu moved all-in for 96,000 from the button.
Winter took a majority of his 30 second time bank before he called for his final 90,000. Shak got out of the way and the hands were tabled.
Yu held [AcJh] and Winter turned over [Kh9h]. The board ran out [AsJd9sKsQs] and Winter said, “That’s the only hand you beat.”
He then used his final add-on to get back to 100,000.
