Bizarre Bad Beat Send Bleznick Packing

Having missed possibly one of the most brutal bad beats we’ll see during the 2019 Poker Masters, the players that remained after the dust settled were eager to get us caught up on the action.
The action started with Cary Katz who limped on the button before Jared Bleznick called from the small blind. From the big blind, Julien Martini three-bet to 30,000 and Katz folded right away.
Bleznick made it 85,000 to go and Martini went all in. Bleznick, coming off winning Event #4 earlier today, snap-called for 270,000 total to create the following showdown.
Bleznick: [AxAx]
Martini: [Kx9x]
The flop brought out [8x8x2x], all but securing a double up for Bleznick, but as both the turn and river produced a king, Martini raked in the pot.

Cynn fanned his [7x6x5x3x2x] for a number three, and both Katz and Martini mucked.
