Ali Imsirovic Eliminated by Matthias Eibinger

The board ran out [Ax7x3x4x3x] and Imsirovic became the first Day 2 casualty.
As he exited, Nick Petrangelo and Kahle Burns joined. Both players drew into Table 4.

Justin Bonomo Leads Into Day 2; How Big Will SHRB Bahamas Get?
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/11/fca8ed69-room-wide_super-high-roller-bowl_ata_3239-1024x681.jpg)
Welcome to Day 2 of the 2019 Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas. The SHRB’s first trip to the Caribbean got off to a huge start on Saturday, as 43 players built an over $10,000,000 prize pool. Both of those numbers are set to increase today, as late registration and re-entry is open through the first level of Day 2.
While Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas may not become the biggest Super High Roller Bowl in history, their are a few players that could make history this weekend.
Justin Bonomo – who won the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl – and Christoph Vogelsang – who won in 2017 – both bagged top-ten stacks, with Bonomo pacing the remaining 28 player field with almost 1.3 million chips. Vogelsang rounds out the top-ten with 531,000 and between them are some of the world’s best high stakes players.
Steve O’Dwyer, Wai Leong Chan, and Sam Greenwood headline the international big stacks, while Isaac Haxton, Erik Seidel, Darren Elias, and Kathy Lehne carry the red, white, and blue into Day 2.
Bryn Kenney, Poker Masters champion Sam Soverel, and David Peters also advanced with just over a starting stack.

Which players will join Day 2 with a starting stack remains to be seen, but Poker Central’s Live Reporting team will follow the action from the start of Level 10 – at 1:00 PM ET – until the final seven is reached. Registration remains open through the first level of play and will close at approximately 2:00 PM ET~ when a full redraw will take place.

Along with updates from the floor of the Baha Mar Casino, PokerGO coverage will begin at 3:30 PM ET on Day 2 and for the final table.
Day 2 Seating Draw
Following a schedule tweak, the Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas will play one more level before the official end of Day 1 action. Players will then have one last opportunity to register or re-enter before registration officially closes.
Once the tournament is locked out, a full redraw will then take place to signify the official start of Day 2.

Justin Bonomo Leads 28 Survivors on Day 1 of Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas; Registration Open Until 2 p.m. (ET)
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/11/d0a7fb88-justin-bonomo_super-high-roller-bowl_ata_3325-1024x681.jpg)
The inaugural Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas saw a total 43 entrants on Day 1, and after nine levels of play, just 28 players would survive into Day 2 as two-time Super High Roller Bowl champion Justin Bonomo leads with over 1.2 million in chips.
The Baha Mar Casino in Nassau, Bahamas, along with partypoker LIVE’s Caribbean Poker Party is the host for the Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas, and once play kicked off a little later then scheduled, a total of 22 players would get the action started. Throughout the day, the likes of Alex Foxen, Kahle Burns, Orpen Kisacikoglu, and Danny Tang would all be eliminated, while Steve O’Dwyer, Kathy Lehne, Sergi Reixach, Sam Soverel, Michael Zhang, Ali Imsirovic, and Jason Koon would all enter on their second and final bullet as the field crept up over the unexpected 40-entrant mark.
With the players that were eliminated and have not re-entered, along with fresh faces such as Nick Petrangelo, Chris Hunichen, and Super High Roller Bowl London champion Cary Katz all potential Day 2 entrants, there is a strong chance that the 50-entrant mark may be reached.
Once the schedule of the day was altered to be just nine levels in length, and the final hands were dealt, it would be Super High Roller Bowl China and 2018 Super High Roller Bowl champion Justin Bonomo on the top of the leaderboard with 1,274,000 in chips. Bonomo shot to the top of the leaderboard while playing on the PokerGO stream when he made quads against Mikita Badziakouski’s Royal Flush Draw and pair, that improved to a full house by the river. From there, Bonomo maintained his lead and eliminated Danny Tang on one of the final hands of the night to separate himself from Steve O’Dwyer who finished with 1,007,000.
O’Dwyer’s start to the day was far from ideal after he doubled Matthias Eibinger in the first level. O’Dwyer grinded his short stack for a few more levels before being eliminated by Koon. O’Dwyer’s decision to re-enter would be a wise one as he saw his second entry finish as the second biggest stack heading into Day 2.

Rounding out the top few chip counts include Wai Leong Chan (742,000) and Super High Roller Bowl V champion Isaac Haxton (670,000) as the only players over the 600,000-chip mark while High Roller regulars Sam Greenwood (594,000) and Erik Seidel (584,000) sit next in line.

Erik Seidel Correctly Checks Back a Full House
With the board reading [Kc9h9d], Michael Soyza check-raised to 20,000 from the big blind after Erik Seidel continued on the button.
Seidel called and after the [2d] fell on the turn, Soyza bet 25,000. Seidel then raised to 50,000 and Soyza called – leaving himself around 40,000 behind.
The [9c] completed the board and after Soyza checked, Seidel took nearly 20 seconds before he checked back.
Soyza tabled [Jc9s] and Seidel cracked a smile before showing [KxJx].
