Chidwick Chasing Down Imsirovic

Ali Imsirovic is quite chatty with both Cary Katz and Christoph Vogelsang, but seems to have quietened down in the last few exchanges with Chidwick, which may not a be a shock with all three of them going the Brit’s way.

Imsirovic first made it 25,000 with [8h8s] and was called by Chidwick with [asjs]. The flop of [qcqd4d] saw two checks, but on the [jc] turn, Imsirovic bet 34,000. Chidwick, however, raised to 150,000 and got a fold.

Another better hand saw Chidwick paid off in the second pot the two men shared.

Another value bet in the final hand they shared wasn’t paid off by the Bosnian, and while three hands is a small sample size, Chidwick has made a dent in Imsirovic’s stack.

Imsirovic called with [Ks9d] and ChristophVogelsang followed suit with [AcTc].

The flop of [2hQcTh] saw Imsirovic check but Vogelsang bet 35,000 and he was called.

The turn card was the [Kc] and that was checked twice, but the [9s] river saw Imsirovic make runner-runner two-pair. He led for 50,000 and got a call from his German adversary.

With that bet and call on the river, the two men are barely separated in the chipcounts at the top.

Katz Doubles Through Imsirovic

Cary Katz moved all-in for 115,000 with [9s9c] and Ali Imsirovic called with [Ac2h].

The flop of [7hQhKc] kept Katz in the lead, and through the [Qd] turn and [6d] river, Cary Katz doubled to 245,000 .

Imsirovic slides a little further back, but still has a million.

Top Two, Bottom Two?

Christoph Vogelsang min-bet with [KsKd] and got no takers, just a few hands after Ali Imsirovic did the same with aces.

With three hours of play in the can, it very much looks likely that those two players will face off for the title, with Katz and Chidwick currently battling to survive and make the money.

Vogelsang Takes from Chidwick

With 65,000 in the pot, Christoph Vogelsang checked [7s6s] on a flop of [3h2h6h], but Stephen Chidwick bet 20,000 holding [As9h].

The turn card of [Qs] saw both men check, and on the [4d] river, they followed suit and Vogelsang took it down.

In the next hand, Vogelsang and Chidwick clashed again, as the former bet 55,000 into a pot of 200,000 holding [AhTd] and with the flop showing [Jd6sAs].

Chidwick, who held [QsJs], made the call, and the turn was the [7c]. Vogelsang checked, as did Chidwick. The river of [2h] saw Vogelsang check, and Chidwick did the same.
