Christoph Vogelsang had [Ad8s] and made it 18,000 pre-flop. Cary Katz called with [9h8h].
The flop of [TcAs5s] saw both men check, but on the [5c] turn, a 25,000 bet from Vogelsang got a quick fold from Katz and the players went on break.

Chidwick Chops Down Imsirovic
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/a7b15d1c-ali-imsirovic_british-poker-open_ata_7121-1024x681.jpg)
Ali Imsirovic bet 120,000 into 80,000 on a board of [Kh4d7c2d5s] with [Ks9d] but Stephen Chidwick held [8c6h] and had rivered the straight.
The 430,000 raise from Chidwick left 64,000 behind. Imsirovic went into the tank, eventually using his time bank card to give himself the time to fold, which he did.

Vogelsang and Chidwick Go To War On the Six
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/dc6fc1ad-christoph-vogelsang_british-poker-open_ata_7095-1024x681.jpg)
Christoph Vogelsang and Stephen Chidwick awaited the turn in a vital pot, with 172,000 in the middle.
The flop of [4c3hKc] had given Stephen Chidwick the best of it with [KsTh] giving him top pair, but Vogelsang’s [7c5h] improved dramatically on the [6s] 4th street, elevating his hand from rags to a straight with that gut-shot.
The river saw Vogelsang bet 500,000 after the [Js] river but Chidwick got away from it, albeit at the expense of a big pot.

The Bosnian Bandit Rides Again

He’s been given the nickname ‘The Bosnian Bandit’ by Jeff Platt and Brent Hanks in the PokerGO studio, and Ali Imsirovic is running over the final day so far here at Aspers Casino in London.
Firstly, on a board of [5hKd8c9cKc], Imsirovic bet 36,000 into a pot of 126,000, called by Vogelsang with [KsXx] and Imsirovic had king-nine for a rivered full house. That confirmed the chip lead was with the Bosnian rather than the German.
Cary Katz and Imsirovic then saw a flop with a pot of 56,000, Imsirovic having [AdKc] and Katz a pair of sixes.
Imsirovic bet 18,000 and Katz check-raised to 75,000. Imsirovic called to a turn of [7c], whereupon Katz checked again, and he folded to Imsirovic’s c-bet. There’s a big difference in the two men’s stacks now.
Blinds are up to 4,000/8,000.

Chidwick Chipping Up
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/ad3ec050-stephen-chidwick_british-poker-open_ata_7052-1024x681.jpg)
Cary Katz made it 15,000 with [AdTc] and Imsirovic called with [5c4h]. The flop of [5sQsJs] saw Katz c-bet and he got a fold.
In the next hand, Chidwick made it 25,000 with [Qc9d] and was up against Imsirovic’ with [AdJd] and Katz with [Th9h] to a flop of [Kd8cTs].
Chidwick’s bet of 30,000 was called by Imsirovic alone.
The turn card was the [6h], giving Chidwick a double-gutter. He bet again behind Imsirovic’s check, 125,000 this time and the Bosnian snap-folded, giving the Brit the pot when he had next to nothing.

Mikita Badziakouski Eliminated by Rampant Imsirovic
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/8cd04d3b-mikita-badziakouski-ali-imsirovic_british-poker-open_ata_6961-1024x681.jpg)
Mikita Badziakouski only called with [AdJh] and Ali Imsirovic raised to 24,000 with [KhKc]. Badziakouski fell for it hook, line and sinker, and made a fast all-in that was snap-called.
The [9s9c4s]flop offered very little encouragement to the Belarussian, and after the turn of [5h] and the river [Jc], Badziakouski was out.
The Bosnian phenom, Ali Imsirovic, is now our chip leader and is looking for his first seven-figure score. He’s favorite to get it at this moment.

Sam Greenwood and David Peters Both Eliminated by Imsirovic
![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/39b698e6-sam-greenwood_british-poker-open_ata_7020-1024x681.jpg)
Ali Imsirovic made it 12,000 to go with [AcAs] and David Peters went all-in for 146,000 with [5c5s]. Sam Greenwood had 96,000 and asked for a count, holding [8c8s] and he eventually re-shoved all-in. Imsirovic made the obvious call and they were running to the river.
The flop of [Qc6s7h] gave both Peters and Greenwood back-door straight possibilities, but they still needed help, and the [Ah] on the turn ended the drama, the meaningless [7s] seeing both Greenwood and Peters eliminated in 7th and 6th places respectively.
Ali Imsirovic has won a huge pot and rockets into second place on the leaderboard.

![](https://storage.googleapis.com/pokercentral/2019/09/25dd3a7a-david-peters_british-poker-open_ata_6999-1024x681.jpg)
Sam Greenwood made it 12,000 with [Ah6h] and Cary Katz called with [Tc7c].
David Peters, however, held [AdKh] and he was in no mood to hang around, raising all-in for 122,000 and raking in the pot to add 25% or so to his stack.
