Stephen Chidwick Fades and Doubles

The river fell the [9d] and after a Hellmuth check, Haxton bet 16,000. Kenney called, and Hellmuth snap-called behind him and tabled his [qc][4s] and both Haxton and Kenney mucked.
Christoph Vogelsang Eliminated by David Peters

Christoph Vogelsang found himself all in from the cutoff for about 40,000 on a flop of [js][8c[7s] against David Peters in the small blind.
Peters was in the lead with his [ad][jd], but had to fade a lot of cards against Vogelsang’s [qs][8s]. Vogelsang needed an eight, queen, or spade to double up and stay alive, but the [kc] came on the turn and the [7h] came on the river to send the pot to Peters and eliminate Vogelsang.
Rick Salomon Extends His Lead

Rick Salomon raised to 5,500 from the cutoff and Christoph Vogelsang three-bet to 18,500 on the button. Salomon called and they went heads-up to a flop of [qs][8c][8s].
Vogelsang checked and so did Salomon. The turn was the [3c] and Salomon bet 10,000. Vogelsang called. The river was the [2c] and Salomon bet enough to put Vogelsang all in for his last 62,000. Vogelsang folded and Salomon added to his chip lead.
Stephen Chidwick Uses First Add On

From under the gun, Stephen Chidwick shoved all in for 21,500 and Christoph Vogelsang isolated from the cutoff for his entire stack of 67,000.

Alex Foxen and Daniel Cates Trade Blows

On a flop of [jh][5d][3h], Daniel Cates checked from the big blind and Alex Foxen bet 5,500 on the button. Cates called. The turn was the [9d] and Cates checked again. Foxen bet 22,000 and Cates called.
The river was the [kd] and Cates checked for a third time. Foxen bet 36,000 and Cates quickly called. Foxen showed [as][js], but Cates showed [ks][qc] to win the pot after spiking a king on the river.
On the very next hand, Foxen raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and Cates three-bet to 15,000 out of the small blind. Foxen called. The flop was [kh][td][9h] and Cates bet 13,000. Foxen raised to 32,000 and Cates called.
The turn was the [5h] and Cates checked. Foxen moved all in for 106,500 and Cates immediatley asked for a count from the dealer. After getting his answer, he thought for just a few moments before folding. Foxen mucked his hand and took the pot.
