With a big pile of chips in the middle, we arrived on the scene as Stepehn Chidwick had bet all but 1,000 of his remaining chips with [Kd3s6d4d4h] on the board. The dealer counted Chidwick’s bet out and it turned out Tamon Nakamura was facing a decision for 229,000.
Nakamura spent three time-extension chips before ultimately tossing in a single chip to indicate his call.
“Nice call,” Chidwick said as he flashed cards that we couldn’t see.
Nakamura tabled [5s4s] and raked in a massive pot to boost his stack to 850,000. Chidwick busted on the following hand.

From under the gun, Jeremy Ausmus raised to 20,000. Jake Daniels reraised all in for 115,000 from the hijack seat, then action slid over to Kristina Holst on the button. She called with about 260,000 behind. Dan Shak was in the big blind and asked how much Daniels’ shove was for before he folded his hand. Then, Ausmus called to close the action.
Going to the flop, Daniels was all in, and Ausmus and Holst were left to battle for a side pot. Ausmus had about 350,000 going to the flop.
The flop was [KcTd4d] and both Ausmus and Holst checked to see the [Kh] on the turn. Ausmus led with a bet of 70,000, and Holst made the call.
The river was the [8h] and Ausmus checked. Holst tanked for a bit and then checked behind. Ausmus tabled the [JsJc] to win the side pot first. Holst showed [AxQx]. Daniels tabled the [AhJh] before heading for the exit.
Shortly thereafter, Erik Seidel was eliminated on an adjacent table.

From the hijack seat, Ali Imsirovic raised to 22,000. Alex Foxen called from the big blind and the flop came [Ac8c5c]. Foxen checked, Imsirovic bet 10,000, and Foxen called.
The [Ad] paired the board on the turn and both players checked to see the [8h] put a second pair on the board on the river. Foxen led with a bet of what looked to be 75,000. Imsirovic folded pocket sevens. Foxen flashed just a five and scooped a pot.

Ali Imsirovic just raised from the button and Chris Brewer wasted no time three-betting to 40,000 from the small blind. Erik Seidel folded his big blind before Imsirovic made it 105,000 to go. Brewer called creating heads-up action once again between the two.
The flop brought out [4d7sKh] and Brewer check-called 44,000. The [Jd] turn was checked by both players and Brewer checked again when the [4s] hit on the river.
“All in,” Imsirovic announced after a brief pause and Brewer gave it some thought before folding.
“I can’t believe it costs only $10,000 to watch you guys play,” Seidel joked, and Imsirovic started laughing.

Ren Lin raised to 22,000 before the flop to which John Riordan responded by moving all in for 143,000.
“14 big blinds?” Lin contemplated out loud, “I don’t think I can fold.”
Lin called and after Riordan tabled [9d9s] he cried out, “Oh you’re in trouble buddy, super eights!”
Lin showed [8h8s] and the flopped brought [7s8c7h] to which Lin said, “Lucky eights!”
The turn, the [Jh], nor river, the [Kc], helped Riordan who could do nothing but laugh and said, “Well, I appreciate the warning.”
