Anthony Zinno Flops Full House; Gets Max Value on the River
This hand picked up on the flop where both Martin Zamani and Anthony Zinno checked through a [Kh7c7h] board to the turn, which was [Jh]. Zamani once again checked to Zinno, who bet 14,000. Zamani called.
The river was the [9c]. Zamani checked and Zinno bet 45,000.
Suspecting Zinno had a full house, Zamani threw a time extension card into the pot to mull his decision.
“You have pocket jacks? You know I don’t like to fold,” he said to Zinno on the other end of the table.
He eventually paid off Zinno and learned his read was sort of correct. Zinno tabled [Kx7x] for a full house, which was good enough to win the pot.
